From entrepreneurship to a digital future: alumnus Wu Shulin shares industry experience at STU
MinBon CEO Wu Shulin took the stage as an alumnus, connecting his entrepreneurial experience and factory digitalization work with the innovation journey of today’s students before helping launch the first festival.
On November 3, 2024, the College of Mathematics and Computer Science at Shantou University opened its first Digital Intelligence Culture Festival. MinBon CEO and alumnus Wu Shulin delivered remarks as an alumni representative.
From studying mathematics and computing to building MinBon and serving apparel manufacturers, Wu brought his entrepreneurial journey and first-hand experience of industry digitalization back to campus.
At MinBon, technology becomes meaningful when it enters real orders, materials, operations, piece-rate work, inventory, and cost accounting. Wu encouraged students to connect technical learning with real problems and build innovation capability through practice.
Wu also joined university leaders, faculty, and students in launching the festival. For MinBon, returning to campus is a way to connect industry experience and entrepreneurial spirit with the development of young technology talent.
